Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Prepin Quiz ("Prepin", "we", "us") collects when you use prepinquiz.com and our apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, profile photo, handle and sign-in method (email or Google).
• Content you create — quizzes, flashcard decks, notes, uploaded PDFs, images, YouTube links and comments.
• Study activity — quiz attempts, answers, scores, review history, streaks and live-room participation.
• Payment information — plan, credit balance and purchase history. Card details are handled by our payment provider, Polar; we never see or store your full card number.
• Referral data — the referral code you used or shared, to apply rewards fairly.
• Device and usage data — browser type, device, pages visited, approximate location from IP address, and push-notification permissions if you enable them.

2. How we use it

• To provide the service: generating quizzes and flashcards, scheduling reviews, hosting live rooms and showing your progress.
• To process payments, grant AI credits and apply referral rewards.
• To send account, security, billing and (if you opt in) study-reminder notifications.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, including duplicate accounts and referral misuse.
• To understand how the product is used so we can improve it.

3. AI processing

When you use AI features, the material you submit (notes, PDF text, video transcripts, prompts) is sent to our AI providers only to generate your result. We do not allow providers to use your content to train their models, and we do not sell your content.

4. Public content

Quizzes and decks you mark as public, your public profile (name, handle, photo) and leaderboard entries can be seen by anyone. Others may save a copy ("remix") of public content to their own library. You can make content private again at any time; existing copies made by others are not removed.

5. Sharing

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers that host our app and database, process payments, deliver email and push notifications, and provide AI models.
• People you choose to share with — for example, invitees to a quiz or players in a live room.
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.

7. Your rights

• Access, correct or download your personal data.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Turn off push notifications and marketing emails at any time.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, where local law gives you that right.

8. Children

Prepin Quiz is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted by account-level permissions. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. If changes are significant, we will notify you in the app or by email.
