Flashcards that show up right before you forget

Prepin flashcards use spaced repetition (the SM-2 method): each card returns just before you are likely to forget it, so you remember more while reviewing less.

How spaced repetition works

Memory fades on a curve. Reviewing a card just as it starts to fade resets that curve and makes the next gap longer. Cards you know well come back after days or weeks; cards you miss come back soon. Prepin handles the scheduling and shows you what is due each day.

Study modes for every situation

Use classic flip mode at your desk, or Swipe mode on your phone — right if you knew it, left if you did not. A focus button hides everything except the card. You can star tricky cards, fix a typo mid-session and flip the direction to test yourself back-to-front.

Every card you struggle with can go straight into a Drill session, a short focused round on just your weak spots.

Make decks in seconds

Generate a deck from notes, a PDF or a topic, write cards yourself, or save a copy of a public deck someone shared. Shared deck links can be studied without an account.
